Oil and gaz

The Bayoot-8 sidetrack well was completed on 10th May 2012 at a total measured depth of 4780 m in the target reservoir section. Following earlier technical problems, the down-hole ESP pump was replaced in a work-over operation using the YD-1 rig on 7th September 2012.  
 
As of 22nd September 2012, the well was continuing to clean-up with 258 barrels of oil per day, and with a 46% water cut, comprising 219 barrels per day of lost drilling fluids.
