Oil and gaz

Oil production from the new well, Bayoot 12, has exceeded expectations and is producing at over 1000 barrels oil per day. 
 
The well was drilled in 2012 and put into production on 18th November 2012.  
 
The Bayoot Field commenced production in 2006, primarily from a fractured basement reservoir and has produced almost 6 million barrels of oil. Dove Energy Limited operates the Yemen Block 53 Production Sharing Agreement on behalf Joint Venture partners - Dove Energy Limited (24.45%), The Yemen Company (25%), DNO ASA (24.45%), MOE Oil & Gas Yemen Limited (16.1%) and Petrolin Trading Limited (10%).
